Wayback Burgers started as a hamburger stand in Delaware in 1991 and began offering burger franchise opportunities in 2008. The brand has since achieved international success, growing to over 170+ locations in more than 35 states in the US and 40+ countries around the globe. By simply following our operational blueprint and recipe for success, our franchise owners have proven that whether they are serving guests in a big city or small town, the Wayback Burgers model works.
Adaptability is a key component of growth for any business in any industry. As we continue to grow, we are keenly aware of the increased role technology will play and always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to keep our brand and franchisees ahead of the competition.
The launch of our new Wayback app in 2018 gave guests the power to view our menu and current offers in the palm of their hand. It also gave franchise owners the ability to offer curbside pickup and delivery, making it easy for guests to enjoy Wayback Burgers from the comfort of home.
Wayback Burgers Community Involvement
Every Wayback Burgers franchisee specifically partners with local charities and organizations in its surrounding community to help raise money for a cause and/or organization. Every franchisee hosts multiple in-store fundraisers and donations each month. We take seriously responsibilities that come with being a leader. We help our customers build better communities and leverage our size, scope and resources to help make the communities a better place.
Wayback Burgers Corporate Responsibility
For Wayback Burgers, corporate responsibility is about living our values each day. It's about taking action, achieving results and always maintaining open lines of communication with our customers and other key stakeholders. We also regularly make in-kind donations to local community events such as silent auctions, runs and walks, trivia nights and raffles.
Wayback Burgers Sustainability
We're determined to continuously improve our social and environmental performance. We work hard, together with our suppliers and independent restaurant franchisees, to strive toward a sustainable future for our company and the communities in which we operate.
Wayback Burgers has a national marketing & fundraising partnership agreement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In addition to our efforts on a national level with The Boys & Girls Clubs, we are involved with fundraising with local chapters of the Boys & Girls Clubs as well as Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and YMCA's.
